Pursuant to §506 & §526 of the Real Property Tax Law, notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of North East, County of Dutchess, has completed the 2020 tentative assessment roll which will be available online at https://townofnortheastny.gov/
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Assessor will only be available to discuss assessment issues by phone at 845-373-7406 on Wednesday, May 13, 1:00PM-5:00PM; Saturday, May 16, 9:00AM-1:00PM; Wednesday, May 20, 9:00AM-1:00PM; and Tuesday, May 26, 4:00PM- 8:00PM.
Formal written complaints with respect to the assessments should be filed by mail prior to May 27, 2020, Grievance Day, and addressed to the Board of Assessment Review, 19 North Maple Ave., P.O. Box 771, Millerton, NY 12546.
